The EPA has a wealth of monitoring data, technical publications, information sheets, guidelines and reports relating to its core activities of licensing environmental activities and enforcing standards that industries, companies and even individuals must meet.
Legislation requires the EPA to have a public register and to make information available for the public to inspect. If you can’t find what you’re looking for on our website, you may be able to request documents via the Public Register Officer.
The EPA also participates in the SA Government Data Directory where our datasets are readily available.
If you are after more specific data, please email us for assistance.
EPA publications are available from our website, and are categorised as:
- Environment Protection Policies
- Regulations
- Codes of practice
- Position Statements
- Guidelines
- Newsletters
- Annual reports
- State of the Environment reports
- Information sheets (or fact sheets): mainly to provide factual information and explanations to the general public. For example, noise, water quality, businesses
- Brochures: promotional information
How to search our database
Keywords should be entered into the Keywords field. This field also supports quotes for exact phrase searching.
The keywords field also supports stemming - a search for report will also find documents which contain the word reports as well as reporting.
Documents can also be refined by the publication date, by making a selection from the Date published field.
Results will be ordered using an advanced relevancy algorithm.
When looking at the results, you can choose to switch over to page results for the same search term by clicking on the Pages tab.
