Chemicals of concern
PFAS (per-and-polyfluroalkyl substances) are chemicals that have been used in firefighting foams and other industrial activities for more than 50 years.
PFAS are highly soluble in water. This means they can easily move from soil to groundwater (bore water), where they can travel long distances.
